Shadow
By Princess Graham

"Shadow" is the book that started my writing career. It began as a writing prompt from my fourth-grade teacher. The story was about a girl who grows up homeless and becomes famous. After some editing, I sent it to the Young Georgia Author's Competition. It won first place for my state and grade. Upon winning, I attended a board meeting to celebrate the winners, and that's where I met my publisher, Barbara Pierce. She was very interested in my writing and said she wanted to turn my writing into a book. During the Summer Arts Camp that she runs every year, I worked on illustrations. By my birthday, the book was completed and published.
Working with the publishing company has made me blossom. A year after "Shadow" got published, the company helped me run a play based on it. But that's only the beginning. As of right now, I'm the Art Director with Unique Euphony Publishing and Art Gallery LLC, my publisher's administrator, and I was poster girl for our new program, GRIP (Girls Rockin' in Power) in 2023. I also host a podcast with the company called ArtStories. I have a lot of responsibilities and have been exposed to several opportunities, and I've grown a lot as a person.

Shadow can be purchased on Amazon, the publishing company's website, and my mother's website. Soon, it will be available for purchase on this website too!
