April Recap

I haven't gotten much done in April. With testing going on, I've been spending a lot of time studying, and haven't had as much time for personal projects. Nonetheless, I enjoyed April. Here are some things that I did.

April Activities

The month started with spring break ending. On one of the last days, I went to a pool party! My friend Josh hosted it at his house, and our friend Tayveon was also there. We ate pizza and watched Everything, Everywhere, All At Once. I missed a lot of it, so I didn't fully understand what was going on, but it seemed pretty cool. I also got some cute shorts for my outfit!

I've been spending a bit of time working on illustrations for the book I've been commissioned to do! Unfortunately, I can't share any of these pictures, but when it is completed, I'll be sure to advertise it!

On the second weekend of the month, I had a piano recital. I learned Congratulations by Mac Miller, a song I really like. Additionally, I wrote a poem to go with the piece, and I had a friend read it as I played. The audience enjoyed it very much, and my friend brought me flowers!

Lastly, I've been planning for my 18th birthday party! My best friend is helping me with it, and we're going to work together to get things for the party. Additionally, I applied for a summer job to raise more money. With that being said, be sure to donate to my GoFundMe!

GoFundMe

My birthday is coming up in a few months! I didn't have a Sweet 16, so I'd like to have a big party for my 18th birthday. However, funds are tight at the moment, so assistance would be greatly appreciated. Funds will go towards purchasing everything needed for the party: venue, decorations, DJ, photography, clothing, catering, etc. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is so greatly appreciated. If you'd like to support or share, the link to my GoFundMe is here: https://gofund.me/10ccbe8b

Conclusion

Not much happened in April, but I have high expectations for May! My awards ceremony is then, as well as the end of the school year. I hopefully can spend more time on my interests and hobbies with summer starting. Be sure to subscribe to stay updated!
